Facilities

When working at the BICT, there are a number of publicly accessible services and amenities:

• Public toilets and parents' room
• Designated smoking areas, which are signed and located along the river near car park 1, with two additional designated smoking areas located in the Operations yard: one by the downstream finger and one by the gate at the ambulance bay. Smoking/vaping or the use of e‑cigarettes is prohibited outside of those areas.
• Detailed information about Accessible Services at the BICT is available on Port of Brisbane’s website.
• Vending machines (ground and first floors)
• Water fountains (ground and first floors)
• Retailer (last minute essentials) and café (light refreshments) – open on cruise days only

Staff kitchen facilities (with microwave and fridge) are located on the ground and first floors.
